Praise for the Christian Fiction/Fantasy series: Frostwood Forest Chronicles. Excerpts from reader reviews:
-The Frostwood Forest Chronicles is an exciting fantasy trip taken by orphans that you wish you could travel along with! Their adventures and unexpected mishaps will keep you on the edge of your seat. After the book ends you can’t wait to see what happens to these determined orphans in Book Two. This book will appeal to all ages and you will be wanting more copies to share with family and friends. C. W. Gustafson has once again penned a book with detailed scenery, mouth-watering food descriptions, and a thread of faith and wholesome reading that is hard to find. – Nancy A.
-Gustafson tells the tale of Baxster’s travels so well that I was along with him in the sadness, friendship, danger, and adventure. – Jan B.
-In his finest work yet, Gustafson takes us on a journey with four orphans, from the dregs of an orphanage to the enchantment of Frostwood Forest. The reader is drawn into the adventure as the orphans meet new friends that accompany them on their dangerous trek to help the residents of Frostwood Forest prepare for an attempt by enemies to take over the enchanted lands. Extremely well written, I cannot wait for the next book in the series to take me along on the discovery of this new world that the orphans have found and the adventure that awaits them. – Dave A.
Frostwood Forest is a magical place like C.S. Lewis’ Narnia and J.R.R. Tolkien’s Middle-earth. C.W. Gustafson has woven a wonder-filled world where four orphans discover not only their true heritage, but life lessons any young reader needs to experience. Put four orphans suddenly in a strange land of mysterious characters and earth-shattering events and you have Book One: Orphan Quest of The Frostwood Forest Chronicles. C.W. Gustafson does a masterful job of leading the reader and his characters through the dangers of the magical land while also teaching life lessons well worth learning. – Michael S.
